HND events:In August we had three HND student events. The different classes had to plan, promote, purchase, prepare, and produce: a cocktail party, an awards ceremony and an oriental dinner. Here are some pictures of the events.

Farewell Danyel:

Danyel Siddall left LHS for a new lecturing job this month she will be greatly missed. We had a barbecue party to say goodbye.

Wine and Spirit Course: On Wednesday 20th September for 8 weeks (5pm till 7pm) there will be a WSET intermediate wine tasting course available for all students to join See the notice in reception if you want to apply.

Four Seasons Showround: On Monday 25th September the Four Seasons Docklands is having an afternoon showround (from 2pm) All students are invited and those who are interested in part-time work as banqueting casuals will have the opportunity to apply.

New Course: The Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management will start at LHS this month. Courses will run in the same format as the HND in International Hotel Management but there will be different assignment options if you want to do this HND
